One word to describe your kids. One word your kids would use to describe you.
Arhann, compassionate. Aayat, affectionate.
So I asked Arhann  he said full of gratitude, I guess I teach him to be thankful day in day out so he picked up on that.  Aayat says Happy

How would you define your strength, your power?
My strength, I only realized the power within me after I gave birth to my son . I realized that I have the power to create and then there was no looking back. Giving birth just liberated me.

Best parenting lesson you’ve learned from your mom?
When it comes to kids, nothing is ever permanent. If your baby is going through a bad sleeping stage and you feel like a zombie, just remember, it doesn’t last forever.

What do you like to do when you need some “ME” time?
Just lie on bed and gaze at my garden from my window while the kids are playing.  The feeling is Bliss. Also I love to clean up the house, cupboards, wardrobes, drawers any time that I feel I am free. It’s therapeutic for me, I guess.

Favorite place you’ve traveled to?  What about it did you love?
New York, I can live a lifetime in a day. From a morning run in Central Park, to having the best Pizza at Joes on Times SQUARE in the afternoon, to an evening watching world-class theater and comedy and going for crepes late evenings. New York really can be like the movies. There is always something calling you, you just say ‘yes.’ It feels like the epicenter of everything.

A little fun fact about yourself
I don’t like washing my hair at home. It’s funny, but it’s true. I never have in last 16 years, even when my kids were born, after the third day I went for a salon wash. I plan my flights accordingly. On a holiday, I only enter the pool when I have figured out my salon. On a day that I have a bad mood, my husband makes a joke about it with everyone that my hair’s not blow dried and maybe thats why I am sulking…hahahah

Your Spirit Animal
You won’t believe… I actually took an online test to know this one hahaha!

Snake: You often play the role of a guide and emotional healer. The spirit of the snake represents positive, spiritual transformation. You are the sought out friend when advice is needed. The snake facilitates life events to go smoothly – a connector of dots who reveals the big picture.

How cute are these three? You might recognize Antoinette and Henry, 3 and 4 respectively, from our website! Having participated in our seasonal photoshoots, we met their mother, Stephanie, on set and we can confirm that patience truly is one of this gracious mama’s strengths! 😁
More than that, we loved witnessing firsthand the bond that this family has. We look forward to watching these little cuties grow together!

We love following their overseas adventures as they discover the world one country at a time, taking in new sights, and experiencing different cultures. AMAZING!  And she describes me as FUN!

How would you define your strength, your power?
My power is the ability to stay positive and see the bright side in everything and everyone.

Best parenting lesson you’ve learned from your mom?
I admire her for being so sacrificial and giving and I want to be more like that.

What do you like to do when you need some “ME” time?
I either zone out with my favorite TV show and some chocolate or play music and blog.

What is your passion?
My passion is living life to the fullest everyday.  That’s why my blog’s tagline is about celebrating the everyday . Life is too short not to make the most of each day.  Find something fun to look forward to.  Wear the dress even if there’s no occasion.  Throw a party for no reason.  Get silly at the pop-up and take a hundred pics.  Make memories with friends and family.

Currently inspired by:  Instagram.
I admittedly spend too much time on it not to find something inspirational there whether it be a tablescape, outfit, or travel destination.  I also love simply walking the streets of NY, window shopping and seeing the art galleries.

Favorite place you’ve traveled to?  What about it did you love?
Traveling is one of my passions.  And it is quickly becoming one of my daughter’s too (She’s been to 20 countries already)! So this is a hard challenge to narrow down to one favorite place.  The places that most stick out in my memory are the exotic locales (Dubai, Thailand, Bali).  I love them for the way they made me step out of my comfort zone, see some wild and extreme sights all the while offering tons of variety, color and culture!

A little fun fact about yourself.
I’m an Ivy League graduate who was on the path to becoming a professor in developmental psychology before changing my career path towards PR and marketing.

Your Spirit Animal
Some would guess swan or peacock to describe me but I see myself more as a fun-loving, loyal standard poodle who is smart, sweet and glam.

What’s your secret mom talent?
Well it’s NOT meal planning and cooking!  I’d say it’s my uncanny ability to stay calm through it all.

My strength is indeed my family. They’re my back up and my constant support in whatever I do especially my husband who has been an integral part of my journey. My power is my ambitious self who never wants to give up!

Best parenting lesson you’ve learned from your mom?
The best lesson I’ve learnt from my mom is to not to be a control freak mom and let the kids make mistakes and explore my themselves. That’s how I was raised 🤗
